N.J. volleyball teams split on key rule change implemented this season

In one of the most anticipated girls volleyball matches this season, Paul VI went toe-to-toe with Southern.
But it wasn’t quite enough.
After winning the first, Paul VI dropped the second and third sets closely to Southern – the reigning No. 1 team in New Jersey – on Sept. 24. So back to the drawing board Paul VI would have to go, dissatisfied with the result of a match that lasted less than an hour.
